Born in Washington D.C., I grew up in Northern Virginia. I worked summers for a small construction company with two "brothers". We still get together once a year.
After college, I came to FSU to pursue higher education and earned a Master's degree in Criminology. After graduating, I worked in the field for about five years. I was in planning and research for the Parole Commission, The Department of Corrections, and the Bureau of Criminal Justice.
In 1980, I changed careers, and went back to construction. I have not regretted that move. I love the challenges, the customers, and the satisfaction of creating someone's living space.
As a hobby, I play guitar (amature) with two groups. I also enjoy Miksang photography, a contemplative endeavor.
